What is Branding?
Branding consists many elements. From your logo, fonts, colours and even writing, all of these need to work together to represent you well as a business. Your brand is the first touch point that people have with your business, leaving a lasting impression on your audience. Your overall brand communicates to the customer who you are, what you do, your reputation and if you’re trustworthy, making it crucial for you to have a strong brand and strategy in place.

To begin, we set up a complementary consultation where we meet face-to-face at a local coffee shop to discuss your goals and objectives. The focus will be on learning more about you, your business, your goals and needs to see if our team and services are the right fit for you. We will be able to answer any questions you may have about the process of creating a brand.
Together, we will complete a brand questionnaire so that we can get to know the vision you have for your business. This gives us a better sense of your goals and objectives to give us a clear direction when starting the branding process.
Once we have established the tone, strategy and audience, we can begin crafting your logo.
Starting the initial design in black and white is very important. It shows contrast and the basic structure of the design, making sure it is balanced and scalable so your logo can be identified at any size and usable on any medium.
Along with the logos, you will receive three different font combinations to choose from. These fonts communicate the brand personality, and is the element that ties together the essence of your brand..
Example: Serif is a classic and sophisticated font, San Serif is modern and clean and Script and Shape Fonts have a fun flair to them.
You will select your brand colours from three colour palettes that we put together. To create colour choices we refer to the brand strategy, logo and target audience. The colours are determined by colour psychology because our subconscious reacts to colours differently, with each colour evoking a different emotion, mood and feeling.
Example: Orange is excitement, blue is trustworthy and calm, yellow is happiness or positivity, green is eco, etc.
Once all of these available choices are made, we will finalize the logo with chosen colour palette and fonts.
Your new brand may need some other elements to help bring everything together such as a pattern, custom iconography or logo animations. These additional touches can add some extra zest and be the icing on the cake!
Brand style guide
The Brand Style Guide is a compilation of guidelines for the use of your new brand, showing how your logo, fonts and colours should be applied. This guide will make it easy for anyone you may hire to keep your brand looking consistent across all platforms, as well as in different marketing campaigns.
Final file formats
Your final design files will be in AI, SVG, EPS, JPG, PDF and PNG file formats. You will receive three versions of your logo including an all black, all white and a colour version of your logo.
